925 Silver are gentle to skin non reactive metal, does not rust but are subject to oxidization (colour dull or darkened) which caused by exposure to moisture and air after some time. Store it in a ziplock bag when you are not wearing it. If it gets dull or darkened, gently rub it with polishing cloth. It will stay shiny with regular wear, and you do not need to remove it even when showering, try to keep your jewelry dry after contact with water.

14k or 18k gold and rose gold plated on 925 Silver or Titanium is the process which a piece of metal is covered with a layer of gold on top. We do not recommend  wearing when exercising (scratches and scuffs can scratch away the gold) or shower as the plating will wear off its luster shine by time.
